Coolest new sound I’ve heard in a while. Sounds like a wicked combination of heavier electro, really creepy late 70′s horror film scores, awkward chimes, and outer space. Finally someone’s combined these things. Wtf, why’d it take this long! What’s wrong with everyone! And they even have better artwork than half of the more popular electro artists. Yes to Deux Helix.

The two disc set houses some pretty fine Dubstep basslines mixed by Bar 9 from various artists (list of artists on Discogs) The bonus disc is mainly Bar 9′s stuff and is especially good. Here’s a bit from October of last year. (October is almost here again, I spotted Halloween masks recently at a Duane Reade, wtf) Midnight Request Line was remixed by a few artists (Some being Switch & Hot Chip), the remix I liked most however was Mala(of Digital Mystikz)’s.
