I’m staying with my mother in Florida currently. She lives differently than I’m used to. For instance she keeps this pineapple in the bathroom:
I know, I thought it was weird too. Imagine my surprise when I found out that this pineapple opens.
What are these? They’re a bit of a translucent creepy brown color and very shiny. Let’s take a closer look:
She says they’re used for the bath. Who is my mother, and how did she shrink these palm trees?

After I came to Tampa a month ago on hiatus from Brooklyn (I’ll be back in Brooklyn in June), I was worried I’d feel somewhat unhappy not knowing anyone. However to my surprise, everyone was waiting me for me to get here..
How lovely, what a shame I’ll be leaving eventually.
