Isn’t it a Pity

Not really what this post is about, it’s more about George Harrison, I’m just listening to this currently. From Plastic Ono Band:

Thought I might post about George Harrison‘s All Things Must Pass today since I had Wah-Wah on repeat. In my top twenty of best albums of all time. (Not that I know what the other 19 are, I’d need to sit on it) If you need convincing:

Isn’t it a Pity (Version one) – George Harrison

Kind of crazy to think about how the album came out roughly 40 years ago when the mastering and music in general sounds better than almost everything that’s out today. Some random album facts: The Art of Dying features a 19 year old Phil Collins. “Jeep” was the name of Clapton’s dog that had been stolen (I Remember Jeep). The original sepia album cover was later reissued (in 2001) refurbished with color (but just bits of color..odd ones). Harrison’s album would replace Simon & Garfunkel’s Bridge over Troubled Water at number one. His album was ranked 437 on Rolling Stone magazine’s list of The 500 Greatest Albums of All Time. Wiki entry.
